How to Install ruby software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

ruby software package provides Interpreter of object-oriented scripting language Ruby (default version), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ruby 

ruby is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ruby package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby *

You will get with ruby package name, version, architecture and description in a table
